The present article encompasses the important and intriguing role of pheromones in human behavior. Various glandular and chemical sources (mainly hormone derivatives) of different pheromones in human are discussed here in detail. Important discoveries in this respect are specially mentioned.- Role of Adrenal Gland in Counteracting Environmental Stressors:A Review

The present review encompasses the dynamic role of Adreno Corticomedullary hormones (viz. Glucocorticoid and Catecholamines) in counteracting various Environmental Stressor in different vertebrate groups. Experiments and observations of eminent scientists are taken as examples and they are briefly discussed to understand the adreno hormonal response during environmental stressors.- Pheromones:Survival in the Wild

Since unmemorable time, no one wants to be "old". In some ancient societies human believed aging as a curse and youthfulness as the boon of God. The trend follows still today as old age brings on many in capabilities, nobody wants to be aged. So, as the science progresses the researches on "how to prevent ageing" has been develop
The present review highlights the prominent role of the hormone melatonin which is secreted from pineal gland in delaying the aging process. It also emphasizes its therapeutic modalities in future anti-ageing research.

The present introspective article focuses on Pheochromocytoma- a rare type of tumor related to the endocrine gland Adrenal; - specifically the chromaffin cells of adrenal medulla. The morpho – histology, types, etiology (which includes molecular and genetic causes) and classification of the syndromes associated with Pheochromocytoma are discussed here in detail. Treatments related with this adrenomedullary tumor, which includes certain drugs and surgical interventions) are also mentioned in this communication with equal emphasis.References

Zooplankton are the major mode of energy transfer between Phytoplankton and fish and important for fish population. Zooplanktons also play an important role to serve as bio indicators as well as to assess the pollution status of water. In this present study, we tried to investigate the plankton species richness, diversity and evenness and to state the condition of a freshwater tropical perennial pond, Padmapukur of PratapBagan, Bankura. Diversity of different group of zooplankton is more in summer season than the winter and rainy season. The population density of zooplanktons varies from month to month and recorded maximum density (91) in the month of November, 2012 and minimum density (40) in the month of August, 2013.
